R07 design notes

Three Boston studies examine materials, daylight and camera angle while retaining a large city view and lower wall lettering. These are proposals for direction review; they are not approved replacements for the complete R06 city collection.

Changes

StudyComposition
1. Limestone and oakDeeper reveal; floating cabinet; restrained sun and reflected light.
2. Walnut cornerTwo glazing planes; dark wood around a light brand surface; softer city contrast.
3. Curved plasterOblique window frame; rounded wall return; low upholstered bench.

The city-view area is approximately 64–65% of the full frame, measured from traced window openings. The wordmark top is 317–350 pixels below the top of the 1080-pixel frame.

Reference input

Norm Architects — Heatherhill Beach House: the project description discusses timber, mineral plaster, stone and framed views. This informed the limited material palette and attention to junctions.

Olson Kundig — South Lake Union Headquarters: the project description connects work areas, daylight and city views. This informed the use of a lightly furnished workplace rather than an empty room.

John Pawson — Time telling: the journal text describes window-grid shadows on interior geometry. This informed the study of light on the wall. The linked image requests timed out.

Reference descriptions were read on 5 November 2026. The proposed applications are design interpretations. Reference photographs are not used in the delivered backgrounds.

Assets and checks

Room imagery was made with the built-in image generation tool. The existing WeOxy wordmark and its previously authored physical lettering were composited separately. Each SVG master retains an independent brand layer and an optional hidden North America text layer.

Three clean backgrounds and three subtitle variants were visually reviewed. Center, close-up, left and right person placements were reviewed across all three studies. Close-up framing can bring the top window edge close to hair. A 4:3 crop removes part of the side branding; downloads remain 16:9.

These are generated city concepts, not photographs of WeOxy premises or exact geographic panoramas. Live Zoom testing, camera segmentation and the view from another participant remain pending.
